LAST TRIP TO CASA DE DOM INACIO TO VISIT WITH JOHN OF GOD IN 2012
· OCTOBER 22 – NOVEMBER 3, 2012
“…The Casa is absolutely amazing, so calm and peaceful everywhere. This must be the closest to Paradise that you can come to today. And, on top of it we had Emma, the angel, to guide us and take care of us with so much love and patience.
…“I came with physical healing in mind but left with my whole being in perfect harmony. The gifts have been miraculous and I will always be in total gratitude for all your love and guidance.
Day by Day Itinerary
(schedule arrival MONDAY in Brasilia by 10am, and SATURDAY departure after 6pm) Private tours can be arranged on request.
* Sunday, prior to meeting date: Fly out of the USA. Most flights leave JFK (New York City), Atlanta, Miami, or Los Angeles in the evening.
*Monday, our first day: Arrive by 10:00 AM, be met and driven directly to Abadiania in a van arranged for the group. 1.5 hr trip over smooth roads. REST from the international flight…swim, walk, read, sleep. (If you choose to arrive a day early, speak to Emma about the possibilities for that day in Brasilia and meeting the group at the airport on Monday.)
One of the finest Inns in Abadiania is home away from home: comfortable, clean, and a short walk to the Casa de Dom Inacio, John of God’s sanctuary. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The food is fresh and natural: with choices suitable for vegans as well as those who eat meat, eggs, and dairy products.
*Tuesday: Group Tour of Abadiania and the Casa de Dom Inacio
Afternoon, we meet together to speak about going to the Casa de Dom Inácio the next day: schedule, dress, water, etc. Bring your questions. Private meetings with your guide to discuss your personal needs. After dinner there is a meeting at the Casa de Dom Inacio to update us on any announcements.
*Wednesday , Thursday and Friday:
Breakfast between 6:45am and 7:30am. Be ready to go to the Casa by 7:20 am. It is a 5 minute walk. Taxis are readily available for those who prefer to be driven.
8 am – 12 noonish at the Casa. You may meet with John of God personally, or be involved with other forms of healing work such as meditation, crystal beds, etc. Free soup is served about 10am each of these 3 days.
12-1pm lunch at our Inn
2-5ish at the Casa. You may meet with John of God personally, or be involved with other forms of healing work such as meditation, crystal beds, etc.
5-6ish—free time
6:00pm dinner
7pm optional meeting together, Q & A, sharing/support, watching DVDs related to Spiritual Healing
After 9pm: Sleep/Rest
*Saturday - Tuesday: You are encouraged to stay in Abadiania, even though there are no “must-do” activities. People benefit by taking this time to rest, meditate at the Casa in the gardens, read, swim, take a Yoga class at the Inn, hike, get a massage, visit the sacred waterfall, have a crystal bath treatment, schmooze with other internationals, old friends and new, and slow down. Any one who has had surgery is strongly advised to rest and take it easy. Breakfast is more leisurely: 7am to 9am.
*Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: The same schedule at the Casa as above.
*Our last day, Saturday: We leave Abadiania at 10a.m. and are driven to Brasilia by van. Lunch on a delightful terrace of a natural foods restaurant in Brasilia and then a visit to the amazingly beautiful blue Cathedral Dom Bosco and Temple of Good Will before your departure. The Temple of Good Will has art galleries, meditation halls, a labyrinth to walk, and several gift shops. It offers a profound and meditative stepping stone back into the more busy city life.
We arrive at the Brasilia airport to catch flights at 5pm. Please plan your flight to leave after 6pm on our last day. Taxis can take you to the airport earlier, if need be.
Your Guide, Emma Bragdon, will do everything she can to tailor your trip to fit your individual needs.
