“The Foundation for Energy Therapies” is a charitable, not for profit, organization. Mission: explore and document the positive potentials of spiritual healing and energy medicine through research in Brazil and publication internationally. It is collaborating with hospitals and Institutes in Brazil interested in this same goal. “Spiritual Alliances” is a company that is bringing the positive resources of Spiritism to English- speaking people through new books, films, tours and presentations. Dr. Bragdon personally gives presentations to schools, churches and other organizations interested in the topic of her explorations in Brazil. She also writes articles for various magazines, and chapters for medical textbooks. This website and her newsletters detail these activities.
Since 2001, through Spiritual Alliances’ tours, Dr. Bragdon has been an advocate and spiritual counselor for those traveling to Brazil to see John of God. Tours with Spiritual Alliances are four times a year. At John of God’s sanctuary in Brazil Dr. Bragdon is recognized as a developed medium and healer. She helps in the “current” (meditation) rooms when she is not working with group members. She has also been asked to assist in John of God work when he travels to the USA by helping in his consulting/ intervention rooms.
Dr. Bragdon is currently preparing to write another book and produce another film. She has a private practice in coaching at her office in central Vermont and by phone.

· PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology
· Advanced training in Process-Oriented Psychotherapy, Neo-Reichian Therapy, Breathwork, past life regression, and developing intuition.

· Volunteer for 7 years at the Spiritual Emergence Network, edited their newsletter and initiated and was Editor of the “Journal of the Spiritual Emergence Network”

Family Background
Emma writes: “My father was an MD, pathologist, professor at Harvard Medical School, editor and researcher (NIH)–he taught me perseverance, attention to detail and the joy of research. My mother was a visiting nurse. She taught me compassion and the joy of being of service to others. They both loved to laugh, dance, and spend time in nature. Music was a big part of our lives.”
Personal
Emma writes: “I enjoy kayaking, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, writing and singing. I love being with my son, his wife, and their kids and my lively circle of friends. I live in Vermont part-time and Brazil part-time. I am so grateful for a million blessings in my life.”
